Classic or modern photography for your wedding?

Wedding photography is always changing. Today’s Long Island brides are not looking for the wedding imagery limited to the same old poses without any regard for the bride and groom’s personality, style and mood.

Present day’s long island bride is looking for a touch of fashion, glamour, modern, photojournalistic blend of images and, of course, a few classic romantic and family portraits. TV wedding programs like TLC and The Wedding Channel inspire our modern brides to bring into their special day a little “reality show”, “behind the scenes” wedding drama and the strong desire to be different. The brides with strong personality are trying to stand out, they want their wedding truly unique, special, a day to remember. More and more couples demand a more documentary, modern approach.

We are always listening to you and we are happy to provide you with the kind of photography and video that you are looking for.

A few photographers nowadays are offering a photojournalistic-only approach. We know from experience this is not the best idea. It is very unlikely you will get all the family photos that you need unless your photographer is posing you for these group shots. A good photographer will cover all these shots in the shortest time possible, depending on how large the families are and how everyone is cooperating.

Other studios offer classic-only approach, with pre-set images guaranteed by the studio. It’s like going to a restaurant and ordering from the prix-fixe menu. It might be good, it might be safe, but it’s not going to be extraordinary or exciting at all. Your wedding photos will look very similar to a lot of other brides who used the same studio.

We are trying to cover all your must-have photos from your wedding while adding a lot of “wow” wedding photos you will love for years to come.We believe that a good wedding photographer is, above all, versatile. Knowledgeable, personable, organized, fast, creative, able to alternate the style he shoots throughout the wedding day: fashion photographer when shooting the bride alone, traditional portrait photographer when shooting the formal family photos, photojournalist documentary unintrusive photographer during the ceremony and the reception. He or she has to be a skilled product photographer when shooting details like the bride’s shoes, dress, wedding rings etc… and occasionally even budoir photographer that some brides request. We are looking to catch the key moment, anticipate unique moments, create stunning images on-the-fly. Versatility and creativity are critical and your photos will absolutely reflect all these qualities your wedding photographer is supposed to have. The same applies to your videographer.

When you meet your wedding photographer, we recommend you to make sure that you explain in detail what type of wedding images do you expect – what style do you like the most. It will greatly help achieving our common goal: making you the happiest bride.
