Wedding Photography Photojournalism - The Art of Making Memories

Many Lighthouse Photography Studio fans ask us what makes our images so different and special.
Well, there's many steps needed to make this images. Notice the difference: "to make images" is not equivalent of "to take images". We are not snap-shooters. We carefully MAKE your images spectacular. Photography is more than just aiming the camera at your subject and pressing the shutter.
There's a couple of ingredients needed to achieve these results, some of them are: good communication (identifying what images the bride and groom are looking for), good cooperation while taking the images, photography and image making educated photographers, great eye, great equipment (full frame high-end cameras, the best lenses, best accessories), professional software (Lightroom 3 and Photoshop CS5), Mac's, and, on top of everything, hard work and THE LOVE FOR PHOTOGRAPHY we all share here at the Lighthouse Photography Studio.

To all 2011 and 2012 brides and grooms, congratulations and happy planning - before you book your photographer and videographer, give us a try. We promise we will  take care of you all the way through.

Stacie Francombe, a well-known wedding blogger from getmarried.com, selected the three finalists for her nation-wide contest "Get Married in Times Square on NYE". We are so excited to see amongst them our Kristie and Brandon, whom engagement photos we shot right here on Long Island, where Brandon proposed.
We are thrilled, but there is no surprise, they deserve not only to be finalists, but to win the whole competition.
They don't have a wedding date yet, but now I am hoping that date will be New Year's Eve and the place will be The Times Square!
